Machine Shop: Repairing a damaged steering bearing pocket by sleeving
As you mentioned, you suspect this frame was in a accident and how the frame bearing wall got ovaled. A buddy of mine has the same issue but he chose to use some metal based JB Weld to take up the ovaled section. Band aid for sure.
