John's #Isetta300 is nearly complete after quite a long stay at #ScottiesWorkshop. We rebuilt the #engine, #transmission, #chain drive. We rebuilt the #crankshaft, bored the cylinder for a new piston, rebuilt the #cylinderhead with new seats and guides, and rebuilt the #carburetor. It now has all new brakes including hard lines, master and wheel cylinders, and we put fresh #powdercoat on all of the braking components. This #suspension was rebuilt with new #bushings and we reposition the rear suspension to better #align the #driveshaft. . All the cables have been replaced. We also fashioned some front spacers to allow larger tires. A new AGM battery and battery bracket. I say nearly complete because there's always seems to be something to do on a project like this in order to make it a little bit closer to perfect. For example we were testing it the other day and the parking brake cable snapped. So I'm glad that it happened to us and not the customer...and a new parking brake cable is on order. #isetta #bmwisetta #microcar #granadared #vintagebmw #bmwvintage
