SOLD! Very clean R60/2, An 80's Joe Groeger Restoration! -- $11,500
Partially restored over 20 years ago and never assembled. The engine, transmission and final drive were built by my mentor, Joe Groeger, but never run....just put on a shelf for the restoration project that got postponed and postponed. The frame and bodywork were painted and striped and joined the powertrain on the shelf. On the shelf it sat for many years. The owner of the bike decided a year or two ago to put the bike together and brought us the bike for assembly and finishing. The motor starts, easily, runs quietly. The transmission shifts well and the new pipes have a good sound. Good new brake shoes and new Metzeler tires. Rides straight and makes good power. Idles good. Everything works. Clean CA title. Very good near-flawless paint. Matching numbers. It is a very pretty machine and it must be sold!
SOLD! BMW R60/2 with Meier 6 gallon Sporttank - $11000
This well loved R60/2 starts and runs well, has a lovely patina and needs practically nothing except a new seat cover. Rare and desirable Meier 6 Gallon "Sporttank" for more than 200 miles of range. Second Denfeld "tractor" seat.
SOLD! 1966 BMW R60/2 - $11500
Matching numbers. Motor and transmission built by Joe Groeger about 20 years ago, but sat on the shelf, never run. Chassis was powder coated decades ago but has some scratches due to long term storage. Same with bodywork. New brakes and tires, lots of new hardware and rubber items. This past winter the bike was sent to Scottie's Workshop and we built the bike and tuned it. It runs great and is really a wonderful rider.
SOLD! 1962 R69S "Cranston" - $12500
61 Production date, Formally owned by late Jim Cranson, a long time MOA member who took good care of this machine for the many decades he owned and rode it. Tuned and serviced by Scottie's Workshop. Runs like a soaring eagle, and needs nothing. Triple matching numbers. Recent addition: dual seat removed and replaced with a brand new Denfeld solo tractor seat. Dixie pipes have been removed and replaced with factory chrome "S" pipes. Would make a great summer ride!
This matching R69S has 80k well cared for miles. At 67,000 the heads were rebuilt by Capital Cycle and new 2nd over pistons. New stainless mufflers and chrome headers at 75,000 mi. Additional photos at https://goo.gl/photos/mtFHmoZCf5zCMQZm8
SOLD! 1983 R65LS - $1750 or best offer
