All of the professional Driveshaft shops I spoke to refused the job saying that the Mercedes staked U joints are non-replaceable and that we should just buy a new driveshaft for $900. But these drive shafts are extremely similar to the BMW motorcycle units we repair and balance—and so we thought, let’s just give it a shot.
