Heading East on 4 in the #ram2500 #cumminsdiesel we got a call from our friend and #R69S owner Laney. Currently riding his #VincentBlackShadow, he had noted tire problems near Farmington... namely threads showing on his (apparently aging) Avon after the 125 mi 100'F run from San Francisco. We turned the rig around and met up with Laney at Copperopolis. After a few very cold adult beverages and some great BBQ wings @griffsbbqngrill , we loaded the #vincentmotorcycle on the trailer (precisely as Phil Irving intended 🤣) and headed back to the shop. I just happened to have a 100/90-19 @metzelermotousa and stock (halla-new-ya) and popped it on. We celebrated with more adult beverages and some great gourmet plates @murphyshotel #scottiesworkshop

Bob and his wife spent the afternoon in Murphys picking up his super side car rig, now sporting a new EME solid state ignition and 450w charging system: R90/6 bumped to 1000cc with Dual spark heads and 40mm Bings and big pipes. I experienced tire failures on both of my vehicles in the recent weeks. The #dodgecummins started wobbling and bumping and getting worse over several hundred miles. I thought it was a driveline joint but it turned out to be a blown cord in one of the rear tires. So I ordered some new rubber. Then the #w124 started doing the same. Also a rear tire! It’s going to get new rubber tomorrow. Must be my driving! #e320wagon

Our good friends at Tooles garage in Stockton had very a sick #Isetta300 and called upon #ScottiesWorkshop for some engine magic. Severe damage to this #bmwisetta included a thrown rod, munched cylinder, damaged cylinder head and, oh yes, a golf ball sized hole in the block. The motor was returned fully restored including powder coating the shrouds. #machineshop #enginebuilding #vintagebmwmotorcycles
