The Quail Motorcycle Gathering is coming up! We are going to build two vintage BMWs for this year's show. One to enter into this year's featured category: "Bring on the Baggers" and another in the "Custom-Modified" class. We purchased this red #R75/5 after it had caught on fire (electrical fire). We are replacing every harness and the entire electrical system with new parts from @euromotomatt and we updated the circuitry to include the dual fused circuits. The front end also got a rebuild with new steering bearings, fork seals, bumpers, and rings. We’ve completed the paint on the #bmwk1 after I crashed it 2 years ago. The new color is BMW Colorado, a factory color which wasn’t available on this model. Quite a few new clips, screws, foam, stickers and gaskets were required. I’m eternally grateful @bmwclassic stocks this stuff. #K1 #scottiesworkshop #vintagebmwmotorcycles
