How to pack and ship a crankshaft
Crankshafts are made up of several parts held together by friction fitment of the parts. Granted, the parts are damn tight fit, but it is still possible to move them by dropping, slamming, or listening to excessively funky music. It is important to pack a crankshaft properly for shipment so it doesn't get out of alignment in shipment.
