Tire took a nail. I was traveling at highway speeds on 580 for a number of miles before I noticed the handling issue. I pulled into a gas station in Livermore, found the nail and removed it and inserted a mushroom plug. The tire was hot. I probably should’ve waited before inflating it. But I inflated it and that’s when it bubbled. I rode to Pleasanton with the bubble, but then decided it was too dangerous to continue so I called the AAA. They came fast and I had a great driver. Made it home and enjoyed a nice dinner. A new TKC70 will be ordered. This tire has about 5000 on it so no loss.
