A crunchy or notchy throttle is often caused by worn throttle gears. The aluminum teeth often get rolled over. They can be dressed with a file for better performance. If they are too worn, best to replace them. For R50-69S, the tube is part number 32 72 2 072 153 and we sell it for $80. The cam and chain is 32 72 2 072 384 and we sell it for $120. The parts for /5 and onward are much less expensive.
