The previous machinist made a valiant attempt to restore the splines by welding and milling on the dividing head, but ultimately screwed the pooch by overshooting the cut and @#$ing up the seal surface. #scottiesworkshop will cut out the damaged hub from the ring gear on the lathe and #tig weld in a new splined hub from @siebenrockbmw #machineshop #VintageBMWMotorcycles
