Matt’s R50/5 is getting an gently used R60/5 motor from our parts shelves, rebuilt with new timing chain, seals and gaskets, rings and pressure sender. The only thing that kills a 247 engine is lack of oil, and that is what happened in this case. In the Sierra's foothills today, we had all the doors open at the shop and were enjoying the sunshine. Walt stopped by the shop on his R90/6 boasting several hundred thousand miles... and Walt has put on all of them, being the original owner. Happy riding!
